Who else is getting excited about racing this summer? Things are starting to happen fast as we gear up for the race season!

This meeting is mostly geared towards new members to learn the “how-tos” of racing at Carnegie but is also a refresher for all members.

All Lakers interested should plan on attending on:

Tuesday April 9th at 7:30pm

Location- Boathouse

We will cover:

• How to sign up for races
• What kind of commitment is required before, during, and after the race
• How racing boats are formed
• The cost of racing 
• What a “boat captain” does
• What happens if you’ve signed up for a race but have to miss a mandatory race practice or race altogether due to an emergency
• What to wear on race day
• Race camp
• Trailer team

During the meeting, there will be time for an open Q&A session.
