The Head of the Charles will take place October 18-20, 2024. Whether you are there to row or there to cheer, the Head of the Charles is one of the most spectacular rowing event on anyone's rowing calendar.

This regatta is only for experienced rowers.

This is the first of two communications and only pertains to single racing (1x) and the Director's challenge (charity event). A subsequent communication will take place in August for sweep rowing and doubles.

If you are interested in entering the lottery for the 1x or participate in the Director's challenge, be aware of the following dates:

Director's challenge (2x, Parent/Child or mixed double/Mixed 8+):

Registration will close on Jun 10. Due to the popularity of the Directors Challenge events, HOCR will be moving to a lottery to select the entries for these events. Accepted Entries will be posted on July 1st.

The event will take place on Sunday Oct 20

Single (1x) Lottery application:

Registration closes on July 25th

The events will take place on Friday Oct 18th for masters 50+ and older and on Saturday Oct 19th for 30+ and 40+

Note that, if you are selected, you should be ready to car top as we cannot guarantee that CLRA will be sending a trailer.

Note also that if you are interested in both the Director's challenge and the single races, you will need to register separately for each one.
