Announcement
CLRA is excited to host our annual Learn-to-Row program again this year.
The LTR program aims to teach the sport of rowing to adult individuals without any prior rowing experience. We try to attract new club members who are or want to become more physically fit, like an outdoor water sport, and are willing to make the significant time commitment rowing requires. If this resonates with you, then we cordially invite you to apply to our Learn-to-Row Program (LTR). You will enjoy it!
Like previous years, we plan to run the program from mid-September to Thanksgiving, followed by the opportunity to join the rest of the club for indoor training until the end of December. The program starts with a mandatory weekend course (full day Saturday, half day on Sunday) to get everybody on the same page at the beginning. Throughout the program, practice sessions will be on Tuesday (5:30am), Thursday (5:30am), and Sunday (2:00pm), all lasting approximately 90 minutes. In order to graduate from the program, a minimum of ten On-The-Water (OTW) sessions are required.
A typical session will consist of:
Interested? We hope to see you there!!
Sincerely,
The CLRA LTR Committee
