Laker Virtual World UPDATE 2

Laker Online Live Training

Starting Monday March 30th we will be offering online live training by video. Each one hour training will be followed, in the same online meeting, by an opportunity to chat.

We are committing to offering these free to members through mid-April. Obviously, as we continue to pay our coaches, we will incur costs. We would love to be able to continue to support these as needed, so feel free to make a donation to help cover these costs.

Monday 6:30 - 7:30 with Coach Emma (bodyweight only workout)

Wednesday 6:30 - 7:30 with Coaches Jamie and Anna (erg cardio workout with bike or treadmill alternatives)

Friday 6:30 - 7:30 with Coach Stefan (erg technique and cardio workout)

To avoid "Zoom bombing" these are password-protected. The password for all these is 649207. Please don't share this outside CLRA)

Each training session will be recorded so that you can watch it later if you can't be there in person. Give us a day or two to get up to speed techinically, then look on our website for links to the recordings.

Laker Virtual Coffee

Our online morning chats will continue, but now they will be 7:30-8:00 am Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Simply join the links to the training sessions above. Some of us will be in PJs, some of us will be post-workout sweaty. 

Laker Virtual Happy Hour

Sixteen members joined for an online cocktail hour last Thursday. We used the Zoom feature of breakout rooms to set up 'tables' within the event, so small groups could chat. We'll be holding this every two weeks. Click the link below to join.

Our next Board meeting will be held on April 7, and will be online. Members may join as silent participants and post questions, webinar style.
